Position:   Medical Administrative Assistant

FUNCTION: To provide secretarial support to Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and medical providers.

RESPONSIBILTIES: Recieve, greet and announce guest. Answer phones and route calls. Attend a variety of meetings; prepare and distribute meeting agends; record, transcribe, prepare and distribute meeting minutes as appropriate. Assist CMO with credentialing providers. Make travel and other arrangements for conferences. Compose correspondences and develop other routine documents. Clerical duties, such as data entry, faxing, distriibuting mail, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or equivalent. AA preferred. Minimum 2 years administrative experince. Must have good written and oral communication and excellent phone and people skills. Must be highly organized and proficient in MS office.

Position:   Patient Services Representative

FUNCTION: To help increase the efficiency of patient flow and to provide quality services.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perfrom patient intake, determine patient eligibility for available programs, schedule appointments, categorize appointments for the following day, call patients to reschedule appointments and follow-up with missed appointmnets. Maintain cash drawer and reconcile daily bills. Other duties may be assigned as required by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or equivalent required. Must have excellent phone, communication and customer service skills. Must work well with constant interruptions. Computer expereince required. General office experiience preferred. Must be bilingual/bi-literate English/Spanish and a team player.

Position:   Family Physician

FUNCTION: To provide quality health care to an indigent and culturally diverse population.

RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide a full spectrum of family practice services including prenatal and pediatrics. Perform precedures including minor surgery, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colposocopy, basic wound care and laceration repair. Supervision of mid-level practitioners required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of MD or DO degree from an accredited university, valid unrestricted CA medical license, completion or residency in family medicine from an accredited program, BE/BC, valid DEA, and clinical experience working with diverse populations. Knowledge of quality assurance standards helpful. Must be bilingual/ bi-literate English/Spanish.

Position:   Licensed Clinical Social Worker

FUNCTION: To interview, coordinate, and plan programs and activities to meet the social and emotional needs of patients and their families.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify, triage, and manage patients with mental health and behavioral health conditions in a primary care model. Work with primary care team to treat and manage patients with chronic emotional and/or health problems efficiently and effectively. Educate patients, families and staff self-management, prevention, and treatment enhancement techniques. Provide and/or coordinate, staff training to ensure staff competency. Attend and participate in Quality Assurance activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Masters' degree in Social Work or Psychology. Current CA licensure. Minimum 2 years expereicne in health related field. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work in a community clinic environment with diverse population. Must be bilinguall/bi-literate English/Spanish and a team player.

20-30 hours per week

Position:   Disease Management Representative

FUNCTION: Maintain diease management database as well as provide quality health care to a culturally diverse population.

RESPONSIBILTIIES: Participate in Disease Management collbaorative, including but not limited to: monthly conference calls; researching and preparing monthly collaborative presentations to providers; attendance at conferences (some may require travel); record and distribute meeting minutes. Data entry and generation of monthly reports. Retinal screenings; generation and follow up of referrals; update progress notes in patient chart.

QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program. Must be bilingual/bi-literate English/Spanish. Must be detailed oriented; proficient in Excel and MS Word; type 40 wpm; and have excellent communication skills.

Position:   Registered Nurse (RN)

Position:   Parking Lot Attendant
Dept:   Operations

FUNCTION: Monitors and keeps employee parking lot free of debris.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures that employees are parking in designated areas only. Monitors parking lot and report any unusual occurences or suspicious behavior. Ensures that parking area is free of debris.

QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or equivalent. No expereince required, will train. Must be bilingual English/Spanish.

FUNCTION: Maintenance, retrieval and filing of medical charts.

RESPONSIBILTIES: Processing chart request slips, retrieving and filing charts, following up on return of charts, analyzing deficiencies in records, and tallying statistics.

QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of alpha, numeric, terminal digit and color coded filing systems. Prior filling and general office experience desirable. Previous experience in medical setting, preferred. Must be detailed oriented.
